The unit can be deployed and operational by 2-4 men in 30-40minutes, depending on the equipment being fitted to the roof. The deployment of the hydraulic stabilisers, the lifting process and hydraulic locking is undertaken using a logic controller activated from a hand-held remote control wand, simplifying and speeding up deployment to approx 6-7 minutes. 

The C&C tower is fully self-contained, it does not need any lifting equipment in the assembly or any additional transport for equipment, the system has storage facilities for all of the equipment to be deployed.

The trailer is fitted with a dual position drawbar, adjustable air suspension for adverse road conditions, an air parking brake and an air shunt to enable the air to be drained from the trailer for the loading/unloading into aircraft without a prime mover.

C2 Mobile Towers can also provide right or left hand drive Prime Movers that are designed for off-highway operations, although most end users will have suitable non-dedicated vehicles available therefore reducing the overall cost.
